The site was okay and I did eventually find the accessibility info, but it took more digging than I expected. The text was mostly easy to read, which helped, but the maps and visit details weren’t as easy to find as they should be. i kind of wish I’d checked another source first because it felt like more effort than it needed to be.

We had a nice day here overall. It’s definitely on the smaller side, so I’d just warn people not to go expecting a big zoo you can spend the whole day at. That said, there’s a good mix of animals for its size, birds, big cats, reptiles, and some farm animals too. The kids really enjoyed it, and it was a relaxed way to spend a few hours.

We had a good time at the zoo overall, but the food was just kind of okay. There weren’t a ton of options, mostly basic snacks and simple meals, and the prices felt a little high for what you got. The kids were able to find something they liked, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but I kept thinking it would be nice if there were more choices, maybe some healthier stuff too. Just feels like it could be better, especially if you’re spending the whole day there

I only visited once, so take this for what it’s worth, but it kind of seemed like the habitats were hit or miss. A few enclosures looked really nice and well put together, while others felt a little cramped. Overall, I’d say the place is okay, but probably depends a lot on which areas you’re looking at.

We went to a few of their events with the kids, it was a good time. Nothing too complicated or fancy, just fun stuff for them to do, and they stayed busy and happy the whole time. Solid experience overall.

We got the family membership this year, i’m happy we did. We’ve already been several times, sometimes just popping in for an hour or two when the mood hits, which makes it feel way more relaxed and not like we have to plan some huge all-day outing.

Parking has been easy every time, which is a big win when I’m already not in the mood to deal with hassle. The discounts are a nice bonus too, so if you live close by, it really does feel like good value.

We popped in after visiting the zoo, and my first instinct was that it was a nice little shop to browse. Lots of cute gifts and fun things to look at, though I did feel like some of the prices were a bit high. Still, it’s a sweet spot if you’re looking for a small souvenir.

I went with my kids, the bathrooms were way cleaner than I expected for a zoo. There was soap, paper towels, and it didn’t smell weird or gross. It’s a small thing, but it definitely made the day feel a lot less stressful.

I might go back, but I really hope they keep improving the animal spaces.

I felt kind of brushed off by the staff during my visit. They weren’t exactly unfriendly, maybe they were just busy or having an off day, but it didn’t feel all that warm.

I really liked how easy this zoo was to walk around. The paths were simple to follow, and there wasn’t a ton of uphill walking, which makes a big difference when you’ve got kids with you. I think other families would appreciate that you can see everything without feeling completely worn out by the end. It’s a nice size for a relaxed visit and doesn’t feel overwhelming at all.

We brought our two kids to Beardsley Zoo and had a really nice day. It’s not one of those huge, exhausting zoos where you feel like you have to rush around, which with little kids is so much better than... well, you know.
The animal areas were fun to check out, and our kids especially loved the farm section. It was easy to get around, the bathrooms weren’t far when we needed them, and there were enough places to sit when everyone started getting tired.

The staff we ran into were friendly, and the whole place felt calm and safe. It was just a simple, easy family outing, and we’d definitely go back again...

Parking was kind of a mess. It took way longer than it should have and got annoying fast. If you’re planning to go, save yourself some time and be prepared for the parking situation
